Group Challenges # 2

Hello again!  Welcome to Group Challenge # 2, this week topic is: OLD.  Everyone took a very different approach to this topic.  That is the lovely thing about having a vague topic, it brings out all sorts of different pictures.  Brett & Michelle joined us again this week along with a new comer, Tony Wauters who recently just got into the DSLR game, so watch him grow as a photographer.  Brief description of the shots, Mindy went to a car show in Delafield (jealous!), I shot my mother's old 35mm Minolta camera (which after playing with it, I'd love to try shooting sometime), Brett went to Heritage Hill Park, Michelle shot her Grandmother's Wedding Dress and Tony shot his down in Kohler, WI.

Hope that you enjoyed all of these shots.  We will be back next week with another group challenge, stay tuned!

  1. I always enjoy the pictures you all take, but am puzzled by Brett's as it looks like a cemetery and Heritage Hill doesn't have one. Nice picture though. My favorite was Tony's I guess. It seemed to be a peaceful place for the ending of summer. The drama of the wedding dress caused me to get a stiff neck LOL. I liked the old car picture and thought the people were very interesting. Funny how that camera is old now, it was so state of the art just a short time ago..nice shot. Would like to have more info on the angel statue on the musical rock sculpture, just curious as to what it is.

  2. There is a typo, mine wasn't taken at Heritage Hill. I can't really reveal the location, but you are correct in the fact that it was a cemetary. I also thanked the spirits for allowing me to take such an emotional shot. :)

  3. All of the photos are really nice! Thank you Tyler and Mindy for including Jessica and myself in your challenge. This will be a great learning experience for us!
